Petra Point Survey Services is a surveying company based in Business Bay, Dubai, working on developments across the United Arab Emirates.

We produce measured records for registration, development and handover, together with the reality-capture work behind them. The work is narrow on purpose.

That covers registration with the Dubai Land Department: Oqood, title deed, common area updates and Ejari. It covers third-party survey reporting and final demarcation into DDA, DSOA and Trakhees, and the 3D laser scanning, point cloud and BIM work that underpins all of it.

The company has been engaged on 200+ developments across the UAE, including towers most people in Dubai could point at from the street.

The namePETRA · πέτρα · ROCK

Petra Point is named for Petra in Jordan, where the Nabataeans cut tombs and temple facades directly into the sandstone. Stone that is removed does not come back, so the geometry had to be settled in advance.

Work backwards from the authority requirement
Scope is set against the receiving authority’s requirement before the first measurement is taken, not discovered at submission. The file stays open through every query and resubmission it draws.

Capture once, at the right density
Laser scanning where the deliverable needs a surface; conventional instrument survey where it needs a boundary. Over-capturing a demarcation wastes a week; under-capturing a fit-out costs a return visit.

One team holds the file
Site work, drawing and submission sit together. A query that comes back is answered by people who were on site, not relayed between three consultants.

The most costly survey mistakes are made before anyone is engaged: wrong deliverable, wrong jurisdiction, wrong sequence. Petra Point answers those questions without a contract in place.

    He leads the practice across survey registration, authority compliance and reality capture, bringing direct judgement to the projects that need it most. When a brief is complicated or the next step is unclear, his role is to reduce it to what matters and get it right.
